2 cups soy sauce
2 cups brown sugar
2 tablespoons garlic powder
5 lbs chicken wings or drummettes (sp?)
- Stir soy sauce, brown sugar and garlic powder in a sauce pan over medium heat
- Cook and stir until the sugar is completely melted. Remove from heat and allow to cool
- Place the chicken wings in a large bowl
- Pour mixture over the wings and toss to coat evenly
- Cover with plastic wrap. Allow to marinate in refrigerator overnight or for 8 hours
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Pour the chicken wings and marinade in a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. cover with aluminium foil
- Bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for another 15 minutes.
