Baked Cheese Balls (or Not)

I almost didn't post this because the cheese began to melt and spread.  I assumed that the bread crumbs would have kept these shaped as balls. (or small rounded rectangles.)  Even though it lost it's full shape,  once it cooled down a little, I was able to use a knife to cut each into individual pieces. Did I mention that these are very easy to make?  This picture does no justice. (OK, it is downright pitiful!)  Take it from me,  they taste great with a beer!

Cut up string cheese (any amount... I used Weight Watchers)
Skim milk
Italian breadcrumbs

  • Cut up string cheese, and place it in a bowl of skim milk
  • Dip pieces into breadcrumbs
  • Spray a pan with nonstick spray
  • Bake at 425 degrees for 7 to 10 minutes
  • Wait until slightly cooled before serving
