2 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
3 minced garlic cloves
1 1/4 cup ketchup
1 medium chopped pepper (I used a variety of small yellow, red and orange)
2 chopped celery sticks
1/3 cup water
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon dried mustard
3 tablespoons vinegar
3 tablespoons vinegar
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon chili powder
- Cook beef, onion and garlic in a large skillet until beef is brown, and onion is tender
- Drain off fat
- In a medium bowl, combine ketchup, celery, water, brown sugar, mustard, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and chili powder
- Place Beef into crockpot, and pour sauce over. Mix together
- Cook 6+ hours on low, or 3+ hours on high
