This delectable recipe is from my mother in law. She calls it roast beef, I call it pot roast. this tastes great with mashed potatoes, egg noodles or rolls. (mashed potato rolls go nicely. January 3rd posting))
1 2+ lb pot roast or rump roast
1 package sleeve of onion soup mix (I sometimes use onion/mushroom soup mix)
1 large or 2 small cans of cream of mushroom soup (regular, not healthy choice)
- Right before bed, put washed meat in crock pot.
- Add both soup mixes and put crock pot on low
Your roast will be ready for dinner the following night.
When I said easy, I meant it!
