Baked Sesame Chicken

I made these around lunchtime to be served at dinner.  They looked and smelled so good,  I ate some for lunch... Delish!  Serve with homemade cranberry sauce, carrots with dill and Herb Rolls. (February 1, 2013)

2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds
2 tablespoons flour
A pinch of black pepper
4 chicken pieces
2 melted tablespoons of butter

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Place soy sauce in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish
  • On a piece of wax paper, mix together sesame seeds, flour and pepper
  • Dip chicken into the soy sauce to coat, and then dredge in the sesame seed mixture
  • Arrange in baking dish in a single layer.  Drizzle with butter
  • Bake for approximately 40 minutes, or until chicken is coated through and tender, juices running clear
  • Baste with dripping once during cooking time.
